Commissions and custom builds
Right now I am taking commissions and custom orders for all kinds of Gourd ukuleles, gourd tenor guitars, and gourd banjos. There are two ways to submit a custom order shown below. Commissions start at $500 with a deposit of $200.
Personal customization
I recommend "personal customization" if you know what woods you want your instrument to be made out of and how you want it built. Start by sending me an email with details about the instrument you want built.
Here is a list of the different parts you may customize: neck, soundboard, fret-board, tail piece, bridge, nut, string bracket.
Common woods that I use: White Maple, Black walnut, White Oak, mahogany, hickory, cherry, birch.
Specialty woods: Aromatic cedar, purple heart, yellow heart, African Pakauk, Olive wood, Acacia, and much more...
Personality and lifestyle survey
This is a fun and creative way to have a custom instrument designed for you or as a gift for a loved one. The survey has some personal and creative questions designed to help me understand who I'm building the instrument for. Simply answer the questions for the intended person, email it to me, and I will begin to create a beautiful work of art that complements the nature of yourself or that person.
